The UpsideDown Experience

The UpsideDown is a Washington, DC pop-up bar inspired by our favorite show, Stranger Things. Located in U Street, “The UpsideDown” is flooded with show references and themed cocktails, including a slushie drink with a waffle in it called “Eleven’s Eggo’s”. Other custom drinks on the menu include the “Demogorgun,” the “Snack Pack,” and “Coffee & Contemplation.”, among others.

The pop-up will be open Wednesdays through Fridays (5 p.m. to 12 a.m.), Saturday through Sundays (12 p.m. to 12 a.m.) through November and December.

Provision No. 14 will be following all CDC guidelines to assure a fun and safe experience: ​
-Face masks required for attendees and staff
-No bar service -- Staff will be delivering food and drinks

-Parties of six maximum per table -- tables will be over 6 feet away from each other
-Temperature checks for all attendees and staff
-Hand sanitizer stations throughout venue

    General Ticket Questions

    Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the event?

    Tickets are not refundable, but tickets holders may transfer tickets to someone else on their own. Tickets are transferred by printing out the ticket and handing it to the person of your choice.

    Can I purchase a ticket at the day of the event?

    Yes, however tickets will only be available while supplies last and subject to a price increase on the day of the event. In the case of a sellout, tickets will not be on sale.

    May I attend multiple sessions?

    Yes, but you must purchase a ticket for each session.

    What comes with my ticket?

    With your ticket, you'll receive access to The UpsideDown pop up experience, a complimentary cocktail, table activitites, entertainment, and much more!

    What happens if I arrive late?

    Late comers may not be admitted.

    Can someone under 21 attend?

    Sorry, the event is strictly 21+. No one under 21 years of age will be admitted, no exceptions.

    Are group rates available?

    Yes, email contact@projectdcevents.com to set up your group rate today. Group rates are subject to availability

    Festival Questions

    Will beer and wine be available?

    Yes! Our themed cocktails are amazing, but we'll also have a good beer and wine selection available for purchase.

    Will there be food?

    Yes, there will be plenty of food. You'll be able to order drinks and food directly from your mobile device. Outside food and drinks is prohibited.

    Can I re-enter the event if I leave?

    Unfortunately, there is a no re-entry policy.

    Do I need a ticket to enter the pop up event?

    Yes, tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Click the buy tickets button to reserve a spot.

    Are you affiliated with the Stranger Things show?

    The UpsideDown Pop Up Experience was insipired by the show, Stranger Things. This pop up experience is not affiliated with Netflix or the show.

    What do I need to bring

    Besides your fun self, bring your printed ticket along with a drivers license or other valid, government issued 21+ photo ID. Attendees without a ticket or ID will not be admitted to the event.

    Where is the event located?

    The event will take place at Provision No. 14 in U Street. Provision's address is 2100 14th Street NW, Washington, DC.

    How long is the pop up experience?

    You will enjoy The UpsideDown pop up experience for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Please arrive on time, as all guests will be walked in together.

    What Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place?

    Participant safety is our venue's biggest concern. Provision No. 14 will be following all CDC guidelines to assure a fun and safe experience. ​

    • Alcoholic beverages
    • Backpacks, bags, and purses larger than 12x12x12. All bags under this size are subject to be searched.
    • Can, bottles, or other beverage containers
    • Outside food
    • Illegal drugs

    • Noise-making devices (i.e. horns, whistles, etc)
    • Strollers
    • Video or movie cameras
    • Weapons
    • Any other items deemed to be dangerous or inappropriate by staff or security
